This is one of our rare producer interviews as I was lucky enough to spend two nights with Enrique on his most recent trip. We held a tasting here at the store featuring a vertical of Don Melchor as well as a few of the wineries other top small production wines. Them the next evening we had tasting at Scarpetta which featured several different blocks from the vineyard that goes in to making Don Melchor. Here Enrique explained how he tastes through over 200 different lots of wines to put together this iconic wine from Chile.
