All orders are filled and shipped as quickly as possible. But, weather does play a part when shipping wine. We will do our best to get you your wine as quickly as possible. Delivery times (for ground) are figured by few different factors, shipping zone the wine is going to, day of the week the order is taken, and weather. Wine is not shipped out ground on Thursday or Friday. If shipped out on Thursday or Friday there is a very good chance that the wine will be sitting in a non temperature controlled warehouse for the weekend. We do everything possible on our end to protect our wine shipments from temperature-related damage. If you are concerned about the weather in your area you may choose a faster shipping method. You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is boxed and ready for shipment. Please note these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver. (For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Monday, we may box it on a Friday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Monday.) *Please note, during extreme heat during the summer months, we may hold shipments to your area here in our warehouse. If you feel this may be a problem because of a time sensitive package, please call our customer service department at 954-523-9463 to discuss other options.
To ensure your wine is delivered on the first attempt we strongly recommend you use a business address where there is a person at least 21 years of age available to sign for your package. By law wine cannot be left without a signature from a person at least 21 years of age. We cannot refund any shipping charges (if applicable) for a shipment returned to us because of no adult available for signature. A couple of other restrictions are: Wine cannot deliver to a P.O. Box and a package will not be delivered to a person who is considered intoxicated by the driver.
At WineWatch.com 100% customer satisfaction is our goal. We value your opinions and encourage your communication with us, especially if there is a problem. We want to make sure that any problems are taken care of as soon as possible. If you suspect a bottle is bad, please do not drink, for one we do not want you to drink a bad wine, and two we need the bad wine and cork for quality control purposes. Please recork the bad bottle with the remaining wine, repack in original box, and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org , or call 954-523-9463 to arrange with you the pick-up and return of the wine for inspection. As soon as we receive that bottle, and it is found to be bad we will send you a replacement of the same wine (if we can get it) or we will refund you the cost of that bottle and any shipping charges. Also please inspect your shipment upon receipt to confirm accuracy. If your order is wrong please contact our customer service department within 30 days at 954-523-9463 to arrange the return and replacement as well.
If you would like to return the wine for any reason, other than is what is stated above, please repack in original box and contact our customer service department at 954-523-9463 to arrange return. Please note any shipping charges will not be refunded and there will be a 20% restocking fee for in stock items and 30% for items that are special order items that are returns other than bad wine or wrong or damaged order.
Your package is automatically insured against shipping damage up to $100. If you would like to insure your package for more than $100, please contact us.
Title and Ownership
Title and ownership of all wines passes from WineWatch.com to the purchaser in the state of Florida and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from Florida to the purchaser's home state. By arranging transportation of the wine, WineWatch.com is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser.Â By utilizing this service from WineWatch.com, the purchaser is representing that they are acting in a fashion compliant with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that they have obtained any required permission, paid any required fees or taxes, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and authorizes that they are at least 21 years of age. WineWatch.com only uses shippers that require the purchaser to provide proof of age at the time of delivery.
