Very pretty nose with classic black spice, tar and fresh porcini mushroom, fine herbs, licorice spice and wild strawberry fruit very complex array of aromas. Chunky fruity wines on the palate with lots of spice and nuance to the wild berry fruit and fine tannins showing up on the finish, classic earth and mineral through the finish with licorice spice and a long well balanced finish, this wine needs some time still to come together but has a long finish that has layers of spice and earth.
