2011 Noah Coste della Sesia Croatina

This is one of the precursors of Zinfandel supposedly and is also known as Bonarda, a very unique boquet of exotic spices, flowers and woodsy notes, very pretty with notes of clay like earth, nice complexity on the nose. This wine has good structure with chalky tannins with red plum like fruit and that exotic floral and spice quality from the nose lasting through the finish, those clay like mineral and woodsy notes through the finish.
