2012 Rudd Cabernet Sauvignon Samantha's Oakville Napa

Named after Leslies only daughter and she is taking over the winery next year, this vineyard was planted in 1996, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and petite verdot, only 1000 cases, cassis and dark currant berrry fruit with sweet tobacco spice, milk chocolate. A good amount of dark currant and cassis berry fruit, very rich and quite balanced and fresh with a nice amount of toasty oak spice, aged for 18 months in Oak. Finish 50+ Most Excellent
