2005 Lewis Cuvee 7 Lance Armstrong

Seven-time Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong, takes his love of wine to a new level combining forces with Randy Lewis of Lewis Cellars in Napa Valley to create an exciting new Napa Cabernet - "Cuvee 7". The first ever 2005 Cuvee 7 is 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the year Lance won his seventh Tour de France. Only 4 barrels were made, producing less than 90 cases. The wine was aged in 100% new French oak and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Randy met Lance at the 2001 Tour de France. Europe was where he started his own 23-year professional racing career, including 5 Indy 500's. With wife, Debbie and son Dennis, Lewis Cellars has continued the "Driven..." theme as a winner, picked by James Laube of The Wine Spectator, as one of the top 10 Napa Cabernets since 1990. Lance has been to Napa many times including trips to taste the various Cabernet components and pick the final blend.
