2009 Vintage Barolo Tasting

And Moscato is one of the hottest trending white varietals in the US today.  You can find the best examples of this wine from the Piedmont and most of them are under $20 per bottle.

We have two events featuring wines of the Piedmont over the next two weeks and tonight's vintage Barolo tasting is SOLD OUT!! For those of you that wanted to come to this but could not get in we have another chance for you to drink older Barolo with our 2009 vintage Barolo tasting coming up on Friday May 17th.

For my taste if you would build a perfect grape varietal it would be Nebbiolo. It has the nuance and spice of Pinot Noir with the structure and tannic backbone of Bordeaux and other Cabernet Sauvignon based wines.  Come out and check out my favorite wine at 10 years of age from the world’s only place for Nebbiolo!

Join us as we experience 9 Barolo from the 2009 vintage and one Roero that’s a total of 10 Nebbiolo based wines that are 10 years of age.  This is part of our continuing study of 10-year-old wines, remember were doing scientific research with wine here at the Wine Watch so we need a few Barolo lovers to participate in this study.
