From vines planted in 1937, the 2021 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard has a deep ruby color and broody aromas of black cherry fruit, tobacco, lavender and thyme. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and broody in character despite its approachable tannins, and it has a mineral-driven finish. It may unwind with another 2-3 years in the bottle.     Review Date: 06/2023
