Medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pagani Ranch Heritage Wine is youthfully coiled and, with air, slowly opens to aromas of crushed stone, candied peach, blueberry preserves, hollyhock, rooibos and desiccated roses with accents of perfumed earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied and tightly coiled, revealing glimpses of tricolored, floral and mineral-tinged fruits. The frame is chewy, with fantastic juicy acidity and a long, evolving finish. This will benefit from another year or two in bottle. (EB) 93+    Review Date: 12/2019
