2011 T-Vine Zinfandel Napa

The foundation is built from dry farmed old vine Zinfandel planted on Saint George rootstock in Calistoga’s rich volcanic valley floor. The heat of the day in the upper valley drives the development of dark, rich traditional Zinfandel berryness. To intensify the Zinfandel’s natural fruitiness and add a balance of bright acidity we blend old vine Zinfandel from the higher elevation Chiles Valley appellation. This accentuates the deep Calistoga brambleberry jamminess and amplifies the wines electric mouthwatering acidic backbone.
