(92 Points) -- (Wine Advocate)
The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Embazees is a new contact for Drouhin, whole-cluster fruit and bottled on 22nd October. It has a fine sense of austerity on the nose, perhaps the trait that I was anticipating on the Meursault Perrières. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity, quite tense in the mouth with hints of shaved ginger and lemongrass toward the finish. This is worth seeking out - an impressive and convincing debut for Drouhin. (NM) Review Date: 12/2014
