OriginMeursault Charmes comes from two parcels, one in Charmes from above, the other in Charmes below. Vinified separately, they are assembled before bottling.South of the village of Meursault, Perrières below the middle of the hill between Meursault and Puligny -Montrachet.On a plot south facing, limestone rock crumbles easily, as formed in places miles sheets of lava and earth. The soil is very stony and loamy, sandy sometimes.WinemakingThe grapes are harvested manually directly placed in a press. The pressing operation is effected in a smooth and slow in order to extract the best components of the grapes. After a slight settling, the musts are placed in French oak barrels (20 to 25% new oak) , which will host the alcoholic fermentation (from natural yeast) and the malolactic fermentation . After 12-16 months of aging, we will first racking, then a slight collage. Bottling take place at the end of the second winter following the harvest.Tasting NotesColor white gold.
