2014 Spring Valley Nina Lee Syrah Washington

This wine has our favorite label This 100% Syrah is named for the wife of Frederick Corkrum. After meeting following her vaudeville performance at a local theater, they married in 1929.  This wine has a beautiful bouquet of dark plum and cherry fruit with hints of fresh crushed rock, violet floral notes and more.  This 2014 is silky smooth with lots of fruit and a full array of floral notes, spice, sage and black olive tapenade, a nice savory character to the finish.  Finish 45+  Excellent +
