2011 Clos Del Portal Tros De Clos Priorat

Tros del Clos is the Grand Cru of Portal del Priorat. A wine made solely with Cariñena grapes emanating from a century-old vineyard of only one hectare, planted on a coster (hillside) in 1911, and which identifies itself perfectly with the landscape, not only in its colour, the opaqueness and violet hue, almost the colour of slate, but also in its aromatic character (fresh, mineral, with floral notes too) and on the palate: silky and fresh. A wine yet again subtle and elegant - as all of them are from this winery - intense and full of life, and for which there is no shortage of meticulous care and attention during its making and ageing.
