2004 Finca Torremilanos Cyclo Ribera Del Duero

Three single vineyards are used in this cuvee and the average age of the vines is around 100 years old, some of the wine aged in barrel and some in concrete, this is a special wine so it is known as a signature wine so just labeled as a cosecha wine. This wine spends 19 months in oak, in newer wood and the wine is fermented in oak. a blend of 90% Tempranillo, has a good amount spice here with notes of smoky toasty oak, graphite, concentrated and rich red cherry and wild strawberry jam fruit, liqueur like, very rich with an array of pretty floral notes, a very aromatic bouquet. A big and chewy wine with layers of exotic spices, pretty insence like floral notes through the finish, very long and layered this wine is a little monster and needs time but has all the right stuff in proprtion this wine needs 10+ years in the cellar. Finish 50+ Most Excellent
