This is one of Philipe Melka's first consulting gigs and the Lail family goes back to the great grand uncle Gustave Niebaum in Napa Valley, the founder of Inglenook winery. This wine celebrates their newest addition to the family, Robins Grand daughter Georgia. There is 18% French Oak for 18 months, a Bordeaux style, it has a good amount of ripe melon and green fig fruit with notes of fresh earth and a gravelly minerality, white grapfruit citrus notes. A good amount of ripe fruit on the tongue and a nice thickness to this wine, creamy texture and a firm hand of acidity to match very well balanced with some of that gravelly mineral notes on the finish, has a bit of that savory grapfruit citrus on the finish leaving the tongue salivating for food. Finish 45+ Excellent +
