Located in high altitude vineyards near the town of Gaiole in Chianti and this is a blend of 88% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 2% Alicante or is it 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 10% Alicante? The Gatteschi family is a very small producer and they offer an incredible little value with this suertuscan whatever it is it has a nice bouquet of light red berry fruit savory herbs and some red licorice spice here on the nose. Smooth red berry fruit on the tongue, very drinkable with notes of earth and light spice but juicy red berry fruit really appelling to drink right out of the bottle. Finish 35+ Very good
