2020 Fontodi Flaccianello Della Pieve Tuscany

A very pretty nose of bright red berry fruit, fresh flowers and dark spices, along with exotic incense like spice and a unique earthy mineral character that just pokes through the intense fruit.  A big and chewy wine on the tongue that has wonderful intensity and incredible youth, this wine needs 5-7 years in the bottle at least and will last for 20+ as the 2005 is one of my favorite vintages to drink today but the 1982 is still beautiful, the 2020 will be a wine for the ages.  Finish 50+              Most Excellent +
