2020 Domaine Lemenicier Cornas Rhone Valley France

Cornas is located on the right bank of the Rhône, in Ardèche. Syrah, the only grape variety of the appellation, planted on steep hillsides, produces a powerful wine that keeps well with purplish reflections when young.

This is classic Syrah, with aromas of dark berries, black pepper, and olives, spicy and supple on the palate, with juicy blackberriy and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of licorice.
