2020 Domaine Gour de Chaule Gigondas '.1871' Tradition Rhone, France

Has a good amount of fresh berry pie like fruit on the nose, fresh floral notes, a good bit of that garrigue like quality from the Southern Rhone, red licorice and a hint of barnyard showing up on the second day. Smooth and round tannins on the tongue with plump ripe berry and plum fruit and a nice touch of floral and spice notes on the finish, drinking very nicely but has lovely balance and freshness on the finish.
