2010 Jean-Luc Colombo Cote Rotie La Divine

A blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier of 30 year-old vines from Cote Blonde and Brune.  A very deep and intense bouquet of smoke, jammy blackberry fruit and an array of floral notes very aromatic with a good amount of perfumed floral notes and exotic spices.  A big wine but still has elegance and finesse, very complex and layered with a long finish, very well built this wine should last for a couple of decades in your cellar, a firm hand of acidity holding things firmly in place.  Finish 50+  Most Excellent
