2022 Domaine des Lambrays Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru La Richemone

(95-98 Points) One third of the vines date back to 1924. Not especially deep in colour, just a mite darker than the Beaux Monts, but thrilling on the nose. Here the whole bunch spice is just an additional factor, and does not take over. Raspberry and cherry, very little strawberry, spice behind, but a complete and complex whole. Velvet in texture, with a fine tensile strength, and gloriously persistent. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted: November 2023.  Jasper Morris, Review Date: 01/2024
