2015 Domaine Francois Gaunoux Volnay Clos des Chenes 1er Cru

Has a bit of animal savage note to the red plum and dark cherry fruit quite youthful and fresh with some earthy/ferrous notes showing a bit of barnyard character, still quite fresh. Nice structure on the palate with a firm hand of acidity and a long finish echoing the nuance from the nose through the finish, some tannins here but lovely balance. Finish 50+ Excellent +
