In 2008 they bought 90 acres in Anderson Valley 1/2 planted to Pinot Noir today and this is where the fruit is coming from for this wine the first vintage of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. A good amount of black raspberry and dark cherry fruit on the nose with a good hand of dark spices, earthy notes and some leather. Nice ripe dark berry fruit on the tongue with silky smooth tannins and a nice firm hand of acidity also a bit of tannins on the finish, nice structure. Finish 40+ Excellent
