A brooding and quite deeply pitched nose reflects note of ripe plum, violet and dark currant where background spice nuances can be found. There is fine richness to the succulent, round and caressing medium weight flavors that possess both good volume and solid mid-palate density while delivering very good if not special depth on the dusty and powerful finish. This is a big, indeed even robust, effort that will also need a few years of cellaring to round off the moderately prominent structure. *Outstanding*
