2010 Champ de Reves Pinot Noir Anderson Valley

The field of dreams is a new project by Barbara Banke, the widow of Jess Jackson and is located in Anderson Valley. Dark cherry and black raspberry fruit on the nose with hints of exotic spice, pretty floral notes and light smoky notes. A good amount of spiced black cherry fruit on the nose with some tannins but failry smooth and silky on the tongue with good balance and freshness maybe just a hint of vegetal at the end but plenty of fruit.
