A blend of 50% + 20% Barbera, the rest is Croatina, Vespolina first vintage 1980, 45 year old vines, family goes back to 1671. The town is about 50 miles north of Turin. Has a nice roasted meat like quality to the red berry fruit, exotic spices and dried flowers and herbs on the nose. Wow a delicious wine just bursting with maraschino cherry, sweet with a nice tartness, smooth and silky tannis very refreshing red pretty floral notes through the finish. Finish 35+ Excellent
