MARA is the youngest Barbera made by the Rivetti family, and takes its name from their younger daughter who painted the water-colour depicted on the label “danza dell'uva” (dance of the grapes).
Grown on clayey soil on various plots facing east-south-west in the village of Neive with a yield of 60 hl per hectare, it undergoes traditional-style fermentation in steel, with pumping of the must over the cap. It is then aged for 2 months in the bottle.
Bright ruby red with purple highlights, it has an intense nose of ripe red fruit, cherries and berries. On the mouth it is deep and well-balanced, and is very easy to drink.
