A very traditional producer with a classic bouquet of red cherry and strawberry fruit laced with pretty floral notes, truffle like earthy highlights, very classic vintage, red licorice spice, very complex bouquet. A big and chewy wine on the tongue, lots of red cherry fruit, bright and zesty exotic spice and pretty floral notes, this wine has a firm hand of acidity and some dry tannins on the finish, even the entry level wines from this vintage need a bit of time, very well built.
