2016 Stags' Leap Winery Petite Sirah Napa

A bit if Syrah, Grenache and Viognier in the blend, they had plantings of Petite Syrah going back to the early 1900's, this winery was one of the people that put this grape on the map.  A big and brawny wine with a nice hand of wild game, dark spices and espresso like coffee notes, very big bouquet.  A big and chewy wine on the tongue with nice richness and a host of dark spices at the end, very well built.  Finish 45+    Excellent
