2007 Kovacs Nimrod Winery Monopole Rhapsody Bull's Blood

This wine is a blend of Kekfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and kadarka, this is the middle tier of quality.  This wine has a minty, dark coco and dried herb nuance to the black berry fruit, very fresh bouquet.  A very unique Bordeaux blend a bit reminiscent of Chateau Musar has a distinct mineral and earthiness to the bouquet.  A smooth and silky wine on the palate with nice freshness and a very unique flavor profile, has some dry tannins on the finish but enough fruit to match along with a good amount of spice and nuance to the finish.  Finish 40+     Excellent
