Malvira Birbet Brachetto Roero NV

Birbet is the name for the production of Brachetto Longo a very different grape than the Brachetto found elsewhere in the Piedmont similar in aromas to Moscato. Very pretty bouquet of red cherry and peach like fruit on the nose almost like a sangria with pretty floral notes and some of that Piedmont terroir and spice showing here as well. only 5% Alcohol and 12% residual sugar making this wine fairly sweet on the tongue but finishes with nice balance and the effervescence and the acidity here make things fresh and dry on the finish.
