(95 Points -- Wine Advocate)
Arista's Russian River Chardonnay is blended from their portfolio of single-vineyard wines, rather than from purchased or declassified fruit. The 2019 Chardonnay Russian River Valley incorporates around 18% to 20% new oak maturation and is scented of quince and peach with touches of toast, matchstick and crushed almonds. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and expansive with concentrated, toasty fruit, refreshing acidity and a long, flavorful finish. This is wonderfully inviting to drink and impressive quality for a "basic" appellation cuvée. - Erin Brooks Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, June 2023
