ASSAM (Agenzia Servizi Settore Agroalimentare delle Marche), the regional body that promotes agriculture and food production in the Marche, is studying both its history and its agronomic characteristics, with experimental vineyards, DNA analysis, and subsequent massal reproduction of the very old vines.
