(95 Points) Tobacco, dusty earth and moist fall leaves give way to citrus-tinged wild berries as the 2016 Taurasi Primum comes to life in the glass. This displays silky textures and a core of brisk acidity that guides its savory red berry fruits across a tactile core of minerals and spice. Its tannins are silty and fine. The 2016 tapers off with fantastic length, leaving hints of tangerine and black licorice that linger on and on. This is simply glorious and maturing beautifully.
