2015 Staatliche Weinbaudomane Oppenheim Glock Nierstein GG

The Glock is one of the oldest documented vineyards in the world at 742 AD.  A bit more unctuous than the Oelberg, there is 3.6 grams of residual sugar here with 7.7 acidity, there is a lot of ripe fruit here with a stony flinty note to the nose also a bit of perfumed nuance, more open and drinkable with a tongue tingly lime zest pretty floral notes and a long mineral laced finish giving the impression of effervescence on the tongue, a long savory finish that seems to go on and on.  Finish 50+    Most Excellent
