Our Story: Husband and wife team Krys and Randy Wulff have been growing premium grapes in Napa Valley for over 20 years, selling to many well-known wineries such as Lewis Cellars, Robert Mondavi and The Prisoner. The Wulffs hand select areas in their estate vineyards from which they make their own signature wines under the LOBO label, the Spanish word for “wolf.”



Vineyard: This wine is made from 100% estate-grown Chardonnay in the Oak Knoll appellation of the Napa Valley. It is a blend of Dijon clone 96 and the coveted Wente Heritage clone. The gravelly vineyard soil is naturally well-draining. Tightly spaced, aggressively pruned and hand-tended, the vines produce small fruit lots with extremely high flavor concentrations.



Winemaker Notes: Randy Lewis, one of Napa’s most celebrated winemakers, crafts this 100% estate Chardonnay for the LOBO label. The estate-grown fruit is handharvested and aged sur lees for 11 months in 75% new French Oak. 100% malolactic fermentation.



Tasting Notes: Aroma: Peach, apricot and melon. Mouthfeel: Rich, smooth entry, polished and creamy on mid-palate, Burgundian lees character on long finish. Flavors: Trop
