2017 Peter Michael Chardonnay Cuvee Indigene

(100 Points) Composed entirely of Old Wente barrel selection fruit, the barrel sample of the 2017 Chardonnay Cuvee Indigene is profoundly scented of exotic fruit, pineapple paste, apricot tart, honeyed-drizzled pears and brioche with touches of crème caramel and candied orange peel. Big, bold and sexy in the mouth, it struts layer upon layer of stone fruit and exotic fruit flavors with a satiny texture and very long zesty finish.
