The 2015 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is very nearly as good as Chardonnay gets, featuring dramatic notes of fresh ginger, apple blossom, lime leaves and yuzu with an alluring core of pink grapefruit and underripe pineapple plus nuances of brioche, marzipan, honeycomb and struck flint. Full-bodied, the palate is charged with amazing energy, delivering electric citrus, exotic fruits and mineral notes with complementary savory layers and a compelling line of freshness, finishing very long.
