2015 Barnett Vineyards Chardonnay Sangiacomo Vineyard Carneros

This is made from purchased fruit but the estate on Spring Mountain has now been there 30 years, 20% new oak 30% Malo. A very rich bouquet of butterscotch, and has a nice amount of ripe peach and candied pineapple fruit. A creme carmel note to the ripe peach and apple fruit on the tognue with a smooth creamy texture and nice frehness, not a blockbuster but nicely balance with a nice touch of oak spice and balanced acidity at the end.
