2012 La Crema Chardonnay Arroyo Seco

About 2 hours south of San Francisco for this single vineyard wine which is one of the smaller production wines from this winery, only 1300 cases produced. This wine shows that cooler climate fruit, white peach and pear like, some lightly toasted oak spice, some wet stone like mineral notes, nice complexity on the nose. A smooth and creamy wine on the tongue with notes of lightly toasted oak spice they use a minimal amount of new oak but a bit here along with a nice zest to the finsih. Finish 40+ Excellent
