2011 Peter Michael Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille Knights Valley

(92 - 94 points)  The 2011 Chardonnay Ma Belle-Fille is pure structure. The most outwardly intense of the 2011s, the Belle-Fille saturates the palate with layers of rich, deeply expressive fruit. In 2011, the Belle-Fille will require at least a few years to truly blossom. Today, it is very, very young, but packed with fruit. Here the harvest took place a full month later than normal. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2023.
