The Sadi Malot estate is distinguished by its prime locations in Villers-Marmery and Grand Cru Verzy, part of the prestigious Montagne de Reims. The 8 hectares of Chardonnay and 2 hectares of Pinot Noir thrive on limestone-rich soils that endow the vines with a unique mineral profile. Certified organic and holding a Level 3 Haute Valeur Ecologie (HVE) status, the vineyards are meticulously nurtured to reflect the natural virtues of their environment.
The 'Pur Rose' Premier Cru Brut Nature by Sadi Malot is a vivid expression of their commitment to purity and natural winemaking. This Brut Nature, made without any added dosage, highlights the raw beauty of their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Crafted under the strict Recoltant-Manipulant status, it showcases a deep connection to its terroir with pronounced minerality and freshness, reflecting the stringent organic practices and careful cultivation of the vineyards.
Now in its 5th generation, the Malot family, led by Franck Malot, his daughter Cindy, and her partner Fabien Villier, continues a tradition of vineyard stewardship that honors their ancestor Socrate Malot's legacy. The family's dedication to organic farming and complete control over the production process from vine to bottle ensures that each vintage captures the essence of their distinct terroir while continuing to push the boundaries of sustainable viticulture.
