2007 Billecart Salmon Cuvee Elizabeth Salmon Rose Brut Champagne

Created in 1988 as a tribute to the co-founder Elisabeth Salmon, this cuvee is elaborated from an equal blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, vinified as white wine, to which some Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Ay, vinified as red wine, has been added. This vintage stands out for its amazing coppery-pink color underscored by an outstanding string of pearls and a fine and delicate mousse. This cuvee has a delicate hazelnut nose with fascinating herbaceous overtones and hints of marzipan.
