(92 Points) The 2006 Brut Millésime William Deutz is a blend of 66% Pinot, 29% Chardonnay and 5% Meunier that spent 100 months on the bottle lees before the disgorgement. My sample was disgorged on 6th October 2015 (dosage: 9 g/l, lot LA110D27915) and opens very clear, fine and aromatic on the nose, showing delicate fruit aromas of sweet cherries, oranges and marzipan as well as tobacco aromas and smoky notes. On the palate, this is a fresh, fine, pure and concentrated as well as elegant and structured assemblage whose finish is slightly sweet but also aromatic and round, and the mousse is remarkably fine.
