(92 Points) Deep crimson with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant pastille and black cherry with hints of dark spice, eucalyptus, turned earth, sage, bay leaf, pressed flowers, licorice and blueberry tart. Some Ribena and herb notes flow in on the palate and there is a broody aspect to the wine's disposition, finishing with chalky tannins and a musky edge to the dark, dark berry fruits. (DB)
