Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder comes bounding out of the glass with gregarious notes of baked plums, blueberry preserves and blackcurrant cordial plus hints of mocha, tapenade, cinnamon stick and gingerbread. Full-bodied, concentrated and oh-so-spicy in the mouth, it has a firm texture of grainy tannins and background freshness, finishing on a lingering cinnamon toast note. (LPB)  Review Date: 09/2019
