From St. Helena Vineyards at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot and Malbec in the blend. This wine has a good amount of dark currant and cassis berry fruit, dark tobacco spice and a fresh gravelly rock earthy notes, espresso and bitter chocolate coming out on the second day even more complex. Lots of juicy fruit here on the tongue with ripe round tannins, very smooth on the tongue with a nice hand of that dark tobacco spice and the earthy rocky mineral notes through the finish, very well built and even better on the second day. Finish 50+ Only 557 cases produced of this vintage, 20 months of barrel aging. Most Excellent
