2012 Mastery Napa Valley Red

The wine is a lush, complex and multi-layered example of the best that Napa Valley can achieve in the stunning 2012 vintage... intense without being cloying with bright, fresh fruit and great depth of intense flavors. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry and wild blueberry fruits intertwine harmoniously with hints of dried tobacco and delicate spearmint. The impressive palate delivers powerful black fruits, deep concentration and silky tannins. The beautifully long finish lingers on and on with blackberry, cassis, black tea and a touch of sweet vanilla. This is a wine that can certainly be cellared for a decade or more, but is absolutely gorgeous now.
