2012 Boyanci Inspire Ramonce Cabernet Franc

A collaboration between Kevin Boyer, Sommelier from Ruth Chris and the president of Brittany Tom Steffanci they souce most of the fruit from Stagecoach Vineyard, part of the proceeds goes to a non-profit to help children. Three different clones of Cabernet Franc, 17 months in 100% new French Oak. Mia Klein is making the wines and they only made 150 cases of this vintage. The nose here is very intense with blackberry/blueberry like fruit, violet floral notes and dark spices, bittersweet coco and a touch of sweet black pepper spice. A big and chewy wine on the tongue with layers of dark berry fruit liqueur like in concentration and richness with a long finish echoing the spice and nuance from the nose through the finish, even more spice on the second day an red hot like connamon note to the finish. finish 50+ Excellent +
